18 holes of golf, a keynote worth sitting still for, and a room full of business owners worth knowing. We put you in a group with people who can help you, and who you can help back. That bit isn't left to chance.

Four hours on a course with three other business owners beats any coffee meeting you'll ever sit through. Nobody's watching the clock, nobody's pitching, and you get past the small talk by about the third hole.
We play a Team Texas Scramble, so your handicap doesn't matter. Everyone plays off the best shot. If you've swung a club twice in your life, your team will carry you and you'll still have a laugh. If you're any good, you'll enjoy it even more.
Then we come in, eat, and get into the keynote.
Most networking events leave the room to luck. We sit down before every one and build the groups on purpose.
Tell us you're stuck on hiring and we'll put you out with someone who's already sorted it. If your marketing's the thing holding you back, you'll spend the afternoon with someone who's fixed theirs. If two businesses in the room should obviously be working together, they're going out in the same group.
It works both ways. You're where you'll get something out of it, and where you've got something to give. That's why people come back.

Every event has a keynote and it's never a plug. We pick someone who's been through something the room can learn from, and we ask them to leave everyone with something they can go and do that week.
In April, John Hamilton from The Uncommon talked about the year he nearly lost a business he'd spent eight years building, and what he took from it. Honest, a bit uncomfortable in places, and the thing everyone was still talking about at the end of the night.
Everyone who attends gets access to The Business Networking Golf Day Clubhouse. It's a private community, attendees only.
Every keynote we ever run gets hosted in there, so it builds up over time into a proper library. Sales, marketing, hiring, all the messy bits of running a business. You can also stick a problem up and get an answer from someone who's already been through it.
Come to one, get every keynote after it.

Nearly everything I know about growing a business came from the owners I work with, not off a course or out a book. Get those people in one place, away from the van and the phone, and the useful stuff comes out. What to charge. When to take someone on. How to stop being the bottleneck in your own business.
No pitching, no hard sell, no name badges. Just a cracking day with people who get it.
24 owners out for a scramble and the weather actually held. Winning team came in on 46 and took a four ball at Pumpherston plus a sleeve of balls each. Second place got a hat and a towel. Nobody went home with nothing. John closed it out with his keynote and the room was still talking about it long after.
